FY 2025 HIGHLIGHTS
EMBEDDING CARING INTO DAILY BEHAVIOURS In FY 2025, insights from our Gallup survey highlighted the importance of care in the employee experience, prompting us to focus on turning CARING - the foundation of our values - into a lived practice. We visited departments across the organisation and ran focus groups to understand what CARING means to them in their day-to-day work. These conversations revealed the behaviours people associate with care, and helped define how the value should be demonstrated consistently across teams. We also redesigned employee engagement practices to reflect this value. Town halls were redesigned into regular, in-person small-group sessions with the Group CEO and management team. We brought together 150 managers/team leaders in interactive formats, strengthening proximity with leadership, and encouraging more open, honest dialogue about purpose, expectations, and how we work together. We also redesigned team-building activities to align with how people genuinely enjoy spending time. By offering different activity options in smaller groups of 50, the sessions felt more engaging, personal, and aligned with people’s preferences.
OUTCOME Participation and engagement increased noticeably, collaboration and trust strengthened, and employees felt more connected to the organisation’s purpose.
