PROJECT: Light of Hope: Homeless Support Abri De Nuit, Port Louis

Objective: Support people with no shelter On World Humanitarian Day, 19 August 2025, Cim Finance organised an outreach event to support homeless individuals at Abri De Nuit, Port Louis. Residents received gift bags containing essential items, including socks, handkerchiefs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, T-shirts, slippers, and blankets. The event also provided meals, medical consultations, grooming, and a drug prevention awareness session, combining immediate relief with longer-term awareness.

PROJECT: Oasis de Paix, Pointe Aux Sables

Objective: Support school dropouts Cim Finance partnered with Oasis de Paix, an NGO co-founded in 2006 by Father Henri Souchon and Mrs Monique Leung, which provides a structured environment for children who have dropped out of school. The programme offers education and guidance to regain opportunities for personal and social growth. We supported the initiative by providing school bags for all students and partly financing school uniforms..

PROJECT: Association Kinouété, Beau Bassin

Objective: Reintegration of detainees Association Kinouété has been working across Mauritius’ correctional institutions for over two decades, helping detainees and ex-detainees reintegrate into society. Through this project, Cim Finance contributed to a comprehensive programme offering rehabilitation, counselling, vocational training, and social reintegration support. Over the next 15 months, male and female detainees will be given the support, tools and guidance needed to rebuild their lives and pursue personal growth.

PROJECT: To Rev Nu Vision, Beau Bassin Objective: Alternative education and skills

To Rev Nu Vision provides an alternative pathway for students who have left formal schooling, blending academic support with practical skills training. Cim Finance helped fund foundational literacy and numeracy lessons, alongside offering vocational skills like cooking, sewing, and gardening. The programme also encouraged participants to showcase their talents through performances and raise funds from their creations, fostering confidence, creativity, and a sense of community among students from Cité Barkly, Cité Vuillemin, Cité Chebel, and Camp Levieux.
